The City of Sammamish is seeking applicants to fill two positions on the Sammamish Human Services Commission. The terms end 1/31/2028. Interested residents must apply by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 5, 2024. Note that applications received after this date and time will not be accepted.

General Information
The Sammamish Human Services Commission acts as an advisory group to the City Council. The Commission provides guidance on how best to meet the human service needs of the City.
The Commission makes recommendations to the City Council on topics such as:
- Development of human services in Sammamish
- Determination of human services priorities
- Human services grants and funding requests
- Emerging human services issues or concerns
The Human Services Commission meets on the second Wednesday of every month.
This is an unpaid volunteer position; however, the personal rewards for serving on the Human Services Commission can be fulfilling!
