The City of Sammamish is seeking applicants to fill two positions on the Sammamish Parks and Recreation Commission. The terms end 1/31/2028. Interested residents must apply by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 5, 2024. Note that applications received after this date and time will not be accepted.

General Information
The Parks and Recreation Commission is an advisory group to the City Council. It provides input on issues relating to the delivery of parks and recreation services to Sammamish citizens.
Meetings typically take place at 6:30 pm on the first Wednesday of each month at City Hall.
This is an unpaid volunteer position; however, the personal rewards for serving on the Parks and Recreation Commission can be fulfilling!
