Escape to Peace

Escape to Peace offers hope, healing and recovery to teen survivors of trauma and sex trafficking in King County, Washington by providing one-on-one self-regulation therapy, supportive services, and life skills in a safe, caring environment.

We work closely with the King County Juvenile Court system (Drug Court, Truancy and At-Risk Youth court petitions), where the majority of our referrals come from. Their team is trained to see the signs of abuse, trauma and sex trafficking and is able to redirect many young people out of the court system - sometimes seen as a hammer - and into a one-on-one relationship with our caring staff (the scalpel). 

We meet with each teen, primarily in our Escape Space, where we provide the following services:

• One-on-one self-regulation therapy
• Life skills training and support
• Educational resourcing

Escape to Peace sees the deeper story and woundedness that led or might lead to trafficking, responds quickly to needs when they arise, and comes alongside teens to offer a safe, caring place to heal from trauma.
