Thank you for your interest in volunteering with us! Our current volunteer opportunities are listed below. Training is provided and volunteers that deliver meals can receive mileage reimbursement. Current Meals on Wheels Volunteer Opportunities
Bellevue
Driver: Volunteers are needed to deliver meals in Bellevue on Monday mornings, as needed. Volunteers pick up meals between 9 am – 9:30 am and are typically done with their route in 1.5 to 2 hours.
Burien
Caller: Help alleviate social isolation for seniors in your community. Make friendly phone calls to collect Meals on Wheels orders in Burien. This opportunity is on Wednesday mornings, 9 am – 11 am, as needed.
Federal Way
Driver: Volunteers are needed to deliver meals in Federal Way on Thursday mornings. Drivers pick up meals between 8 am – 9 am and are typically done with their route in 1 to 1.5 hours.
Kent
Driver: Volunteers are needed to deliver meals in Kent on Wednesday mornings, as needed. Drivers typically arrive at the Center at 8:30 am, load up the meals, and are done with their route in 1 to 2 hours.
Kirkland
Caller: Help alleviate social isolation for seniors in your community. Make friendly phone calls to collect Meals on Wheels orders in Kirkland. This opportunity is on Thursday mornings, 9:30 am – 11:30 am, as needed.
Renton
Driver: Volunteers are needed to deliver meals in Renton on Wednesday mornings, as needed. Volunteers arrive at the Center at 10 am, load up the meals, and are done with their route in 1 to 2 hours.
Site Coordinator: Help make a difference for seniors in your community by coordinating our Renton Meals on Wheels site! In this position, your main responsibilities are to coordinate our dedicated volunteers for the delivery of meals as well as completing various office tasks that keep Meals on Wheels humming along on schedule. In a pinch, the Coordinator can fill in for any member of the Meals on Wheels team, including delivering meals to clients. This volunteer role involves a weekly commitment of 4 to 5 hours, with the ability to be on-site on Wednesdays from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. We are looking for volunteers who have long term availability.
