Position Goals:
1) Deliver pet food and other supplies to organizational partners of Seattle Humane’s Pet Food Bank, such as low-income housing, food banks, senior centers, and more.
Volunteer Qualifications

• Are comfortable engaging with people of all different backgrounds and life experiences.
• Enjoy helping pets and their families in your own community.
• Work well independently.
• Have a driver’s license and your own vehicle that you’re willing to use for volunteer purposes.
• Are willing to volunteer without compensation for gas or other vehicle expenses.
Prior Experience: A valid driver’s license and history of good driving practices is required. Volunteers in this position will be asked to provide a copy of their driving record as proof.
Requirements:
• Skills: Ability to drive a vehicle.
• Physical Capabilities: Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Mental/Emotional Capabilities
- Remain calm when faced with unexpected or challenging situations.
- Demonstrate kindness and patience when working with people with different opinions and life experiences.
- Ability to set personal boundaries with clients.

Time Commitment
Schedule: Monthly, same recurring day each month. Additional details such as time requirements may be dependent on which organization volunteers are delivering to.
The Pet Food Bank is located on Seattle Humane’s campus at 13212 SE Eastgate Way in Bellevue, WA
