The City Council is accepting applications to fill a vacancy on the Planning Commission. Interested residents are encouraged to apply online by 5 p.m., Tuesday, April 29.
The Planning Commission advises the council on updates to the Comprehensive Plan and reviews land use regulations, ordinances and other policy matters. The commission meets on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month at 6:30 p.m., with additional meetings scheduled as needed.
Commissioners are appointed by the mayor and confirmed by the council to serve four-year volunteer terms. Bellevue’s boards and commissions offer residents an opportunity to shape city policy and engage in meaningful civic service.
