Youth Advocate Position
Are you between the age of 14-18 and live in Redmond? Do you have three to four hours per month to commit to, that can help benefit your local community for years to come? If yes, then we are looking for you.
A Youth Advocate Helps:
- Decide what a new park should look like and what activities should take place there.
- Plan new recreation activities, trail programs or special events.
- Make decisions to protect our environment and make sure we have great parks and open space areas for the future.
- Decide how trails are used and where trails are developed in Redmond.
If you become a Youth Advocate on the Redmond Parks, Trails and Recreation Commission, you are doing all this and more! The Redmond Parks and Trails Commission is a great place for youth to get involved in the community. If you are interested, complete the City of Redmond's Volunteer Application (PDF).
