We welcome volunteers of all interests and backgrounds to learn and interact with artists, educators, students, and other volunteers in a creative, fun, and educational environment.

Special Events Volunteer: This opportunity is typically a short term commitment surrounding an event. Responsibilities depend on the event, but could include: raffles, sales, packaging artwork, assisting guests, and being a face forward representative of KAC. Event types: galas, fundraisers, auctions, open houses, festivals, etc.
Community Engagement Volunteer: Involves outreach in local communities and beyond to foster KACs growth. Outreach and events coordinating in order to create targeted fundraising campaigns in an area that aligns with KAC’s mission
Gallery Programming Volunteer: This opportunity is 6 -10 hours per week, depending on the volunteer’s desired time and efforts. Primary duties include being present during open gallery hours and maintaining a welcoming gallery environment. There will be additional opportunities during special events, where a volunteer attends events and helps with preparation.
Marketing Volunteer: The Marketing Volunteer’s responsibilities include assisting the Marketing Specialist with various activities, such as creating posters for upcoming events, printing and distributing flyers in and around KAC and nearby local businesses, capturing pictures and videos at exhibitions, events, and classes, and providing support with other marketing tasks as needed.
Development Volunteer: This is an opportunity to learn about fundraising. In this role, you’ll help develop lists of potential sponsors, send out email and mail solicitations, donor thank you and acknowledgement letters, and be introduced to our supporters through various methods of communication.
Arts Studio Volunteer: The Arts Studio Volunteer assists instructors and/or technicians in the studio with clean up, set up, and general studio functions. Volunteer duties may also include recording demos, photographing student artwork, and photographing relevant events for use with marketing materials. The Arts Volunteer works with instructors, techs, and staff to ascertain specific needs for the class / studio.
Grounds and Garden Volunteer: The Grounds and Garden Volunteer maintains the appearance of our outdoor community spaces, front window garden, and outdoor pots. They assess our overall outward appearance in terms of maintenance, cleanliness, and curb appeal.
Archiving Volunteer: We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Archivist Volunteer to assist in managing and preserving our archival collections. The ideal candidate will have an interest in history, archival science, or library science and a commitment to preserving our cultural heritage.
